Following the success of Sniper Elite and Sniper Elite V2, publisher 505 Games and developer Rebellion have announced Sniper Elite 3. The WWII game is slated for release in 2014 on the PS3, Xbox 360 and “next-gen platforms.”
505 Games says, “following the worldwide success of Sniper Elite and Sniper Elite V2 released on PC, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3, 505 Games believe in the extremely high potential of this brand.”
505 Games added that Sniper Elite V2 on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 “gained worldwide success around 1.1 million copies and 28.6 million revenues sold since the April 2012 launch to the end of December.” The game is expected to launch on the Wii U sometime later on.
Currently, 505 Games hasn’t revealed any details on Sniper Elite 3 yet. What the company did reveal is FG will keep you posted when the details arrive.
