7 Cancelled Games That Could Have Been Great

1. The Agency

MMO shooters are becoming more engrossing as the splicing between genres has always resulted in fresh twists that attract the gamer. Sony Online Entertainment decided to take advantage of this phenomenon with their very own MMO shooter called The Agency. Though there was little known about The Agency before it’s abrupt cancellation, what was learned about it made it seem like it would be a winner.

The game involved a war between two spy organizations and players would pick a side to engage in espionage and gunfights in the conflict. Combat featured the ability to switch between a first-person perspective and third-person perspectives for shooting. To make things seem real, a shot to the head was all it took to end a conflict between rival spies.  Unfortunately, SOE experienced money woes and layoffs that resulted in The Agency joining the ranks of cancelled games.
